I was born and raised in Paducah, Ky. Graduated from Lone Oak high school and attended Paducah community college for about 2 years. After PCC, I transferred to Murray State; where life really began. I gradutated in May of 2003 with a Bachelor degree in TSM (Telecommunication Systems Management). I currently work at a large corporation in Paducah that does bank data processing. The department I work in maintains the large backbone network that connects banks to our large WAN.
In August after I graduated, I moved back to Murray with a buddy of mine (Tman) and commuted to Paducah for work. Which wound up being a blessing in disguise. Because I met a girl named Kristin, she is amazing. Kristin is from Seattle, Washington. You ask how she wound up at Murray State, well the answer to this question is soccer. First, I never thought I would date a soccer chick, secondly I never thought I would ever like a redhead this much. If you are curious, this is Kristin. We dated for right at a year this August (2004). So we had planned a two week vacation back out to Seattle at the end of the summer or the first two weeks of August. What she did not know is that I would ask her to marry me while out there on Mt. Rainier. Of course, she said yes.
Kristin became Mrs. Fox on June 24 of 2005. We were married at Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center in downtown Paducah, KY. It was a beautiful Friday night wedding out on their terrace. The reception followed inside. Most of her family flew in for the wedding. For those who did not attend the wedding we had a Seattle reception after our honeymoon on July 9th.
Nicknames: Dan-O, Thunder Dan, Foxy, Bash at the Beach, Fan Dox, Fox In A Box,
Steve (still not sure why T-man started calling me this)
Siblings: I have two younger sisters. Amanda (22) goes to college at Eastern KY. Jessie (18), just started college at Murray State.
Obsessions: Waterskiing, sailing, camping, Mountain biking, hiking, you name it.
Favorite Memory: I would actually have to say there not one particular one, but many. Any of the times I went out with my college friends. We always had something outrageous happen. I now would have to say my wedding, the reception that followed, and our honeymoon; all of these we great!
Worst Memory: Would probably have to be when blew out my knee. We were way back in Sweet Potato Cave, over the pit. I had to walk all the way out and back to the car in pain. I actually went a week or so on it like it was, not knowing how bad it was. Just knew it hurt like hell.
