Nothing like being back home with the wife. When I got home late Thursday night, it felt like Kristin and I hadn’t seen each other in months. Friday morning we went for a bike ride downtown and back. That afternoon we drove to Southern Illinois to visit a couple of the local wineries.

Saturday we were feeling ambitious and rode the 39 mile Superman Trek. Needless to say I was useless the rest of the day. We did enjoy a nice steak at Texas Roadhouse, we both agreed that we had earned it!

Wouldn’t you know it that it worked out that Kristin arrived on Sunday night and I left on Monday morning. So by Friday night we will have not spent any time together in two weeks. I am currently in Ashland, KY. We installed a VoIP phone system in our new data center. After we leave here we are going to Charleston, WV. Lots of fun stuff.
