Kristin’s dad payed us a visit this past weekend.  We took him to the LBL on saturday for a bike ride.  We only rode a short part of the trail.   Now Kristin and I are itching to go riding!  Too bad its like 30 degrees out and windy.  It also rained today so the trail is wet again.

On Sunday we went to church then I gave he and Kristin a tour of where I work.  Then went to the riverboat (Harrah’s Casino) in Metropolis to look around and visit my cousin Dan.   Tonight, Kristin and I are just relaxing!

Although I have not done any of this Holiday’s traditions like drinking a green beer, pinching someone not wearing green, or eating “corned beef and cabbage”. Kristin and I did go to a wine tasting at the Wine Pro here in Paducah, where I had a sip of Irish cream and the Irish whiskey.

So.. Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh! or “May the Blessings of St. Patrick’s be with you”

Well what do you think? Total redesign of the website. We are now running Wordpress 2.0. I really that instead of hard coding my webpages, in hopes it will further me in adding more content quicker. Also the Gallery has been migrated to Gallery2. Which is the second version of the same software, but is database driven instead. So complete backend of the website is running on MySQL.

30boxes.com - Came across a new Web2.0 site that I really like!! I have been switching calendars every 8 months or so, looking for the just the right online calendar. I really like this one and suggest everyone go and give it a try then add me as a buddy. There are alot of people downing this new calendar, but I like its simplicity. It does just what I need. Also has reminders via SMS or email!

Kristin and I went for an afternoon flick. Checked out the new “Failure to Launch”. I tend to enjoy Matthew McConaughey movies. It was a worthwhile movie to see if your looking for a good lighthearted laugh. It might be a renter considering other options of movies out right now.

Yes, another year older as of yesterday. I guess I am proud to say that. I am at a weird age I think because instead of thinking of it as 27, I cringe and think of it as 3 years from 30. Yes you right I did say 30. Man does that seem old! Not really, but when I think of what some people have done by age 30, I think man, I need to get busy. But whose to say those people weren’t so busy that they forgot to just enjoy life.

Yeah that’s it, I am just enjoying life!
