Am I ever excited! I got my Christmas present early. Kristin (along with some help from me) got me the Cannon 20D Digital SLR.

Is it ever sweet. I have spent over a month seriously looking and dSLR’s, trying to decide what I would want. I can not even begin to explain what a great camera this is. If you have no idea about cameras, let me tell you this much, the photographer that is shooting our wedding shoots with this camera. This is on of my favorite pictures of the camera…

I have taken a couple hundreds pictures so far, in the first week I have had the camera. I know, I know your saying, “Let’s see them”. Well I will have shrink some down and put up on the web. Since the camera shoots at high resolution of 3504 x 2336. I cant wait for the endless possibilites to come. I cant wait to take some great pictures in Alaska, when we go on our honeymoon.

Last week was Thanksgiving. Kristin stayed here in Kentucky with me for Thanksgiving instead of going home to Washington. It was our first Thanksgiving together, needless to say I was very thankful to have her there. We had a very good day. Nothing like sleeping in on a day off, then later stuffing your face with good food. She is one of the greatest blessings ever bestowed upon my life.

Maybe its just me, but Mondays are such downers. Its like standing at the bottom of a hill mountain sheer cliff, that you must climb. Or I guess you could say its like falling off a cliff, you know you were on top of your mountain all weekend then someone gives you a shove. BAM! You at work and its Monday!
