American Dream :: Segway across America at 10 MPH Go check this site out! A group of 4 to 6 mostly guys, ( one guy’s sister) are traveling from Seattle to Boston. One of the guys is riding a Segway the whole trip, hence the 10 mph. They are filming a documentary along the way. My favorite part is all the pictures they have taken of which most are on their site.

Have you ever been tired, and I don’t mean sleepy. And I don’t mean you body is just tired, but tired where you cant exactly think straight, you get frustrated easy, and your just not your sharpest. That would definitely describe how I felt today and tonight. The night this puppy sleeps through the entire night I will party hardy!!

Last night my dad and I built Delci a dog house. When we started I was trying to figure out how big to make it, well its hard to invision 3-d size by looking at 2-d measurements. Yeah so I think we built the largest dog house ever. Kristin asked if it was for her future St.Benard. I mean this dog house is LARGE. It is 32 in wide and 46 in deep. Now I just have to paint it…

Is it sad that sometimes I feel like a proud father when she is only a puppy? Yesterday at lunch, we were inside and she went to the backdoor and barked once. So I said, ok lets try it. As soon as she hits the yard she runs over and goes potty. Last night she made it pretty much the whole night, with only having to go out once to potty. She did wake up about ten minutes early, which did not please Kristin.

Had a good weekend. We fit alot in and got alot done. Saturday morning started with a trip to Petsmart. Let me tell you, if you are going with a puppy don’t expect to be in and out of that store. Everyone in the store had to pet her. She was eating it up. Then we made her walk from the parking lot to the Encampment at Ft Massac. She is already learning on the leash. Bought and built a dog pen for Delci. Chad and Ashley came down for dinner. We had fresh salmon from Alaska that Kristin brought back via Seattle ( her brother fishes in Alaska during the summers). After hitting up Yesterdays for a custard type blizzard, we went to see “Friday Night Lights”. Which I actually wanted to see, but was highly disappointed. Camera work was reminicient of “Blair Witch Project” and the story tried to follow too many people. So the characters were never fully developed.
Sunday after church and good lunch at Fazoli’s, we came and rearranged the house. Now all we have to do is hang some pictures and get Kristin’s scrapbooking table from her apartment. Things are coming together.
